Join us for an intimate evening under the stars at Maui Chef’s Table! Located at The Mill House Restaurant on the grounds of the Maui Tropical Plantation. Find yourself exploring the modern tastes and textures of Maui’s local and organically grown produce, fruit, and proteins as each of the seven courses is served to you.
Our open-air kitchen concept allows you to watch as each course is created, plated, and presented. Executive Chef Jeff Scheer assembles an amazing team for each memorable evening. Including Sous Chef Taylor Ponte, formerly of Maui Executive Catering, who has been with Chef Scheer since the first Maui Chef’s Table in Haiku. Sous Chef Tak Toride, formerly of Morimoto Maui. As well as Rosanna Ha, formerly of Mourad and Boulevard in San Francisco. Each of these Chefs is uniquely creative and inventive while sharing the same core values for sourcing and preparing food. Each week, these Chefs work together to create the inventive seven course dining experience known as Maui Chef's table!
Your evening will be guided by one of these charismatic Chefs. Chef Scheer and his team love to interact with each guest, so feel free to ask about the ingredients or the inspiration behind each course as it is prepared. We encourage you to mingle with the other diners as you experience this culinary adventure.
Wine, beer and specialty cocktails are available for purchase during your dinner service. Sorry, no outside alcohol is allowed on the premise. The menu for each evening is always the chef’s choice, and he will prepare what is fresh and locally available. We strive to show our guests the freshest side of Maui, one delicious course at a time.

A Note on Dietary Restrictions: We apologize, but Maui Chef’s Table is unable to accommodate special dietary requests. Chef Scheer creates each course from scratch, infusing each component with a variety of our plantation’s freshest ingredients, often chosen only in the hours leading up to the event. Our goal is to create a unique, all-encompassing five star dining experience that remains true to his vision for the evening. Mahalo!
